WHOOOO!
Red Bridge Beer - made without wheat or barley.
It's kinda fizzy and ambery and actually pretty good. But I like beer and it makes me sad that there are so many I love that I can't have.
My roomie found it at Whole Foods near San Diego this weekend.
Such a treat!

Re: Wheat and Gluten Free Beer!
Mon, May 7, 2007 - 4:12 PMI've had one that is rice based...I believe the brand is Gristmill...
It's really nice! Quite crisp and clean tasting...kinda like a cross between beer and ginger ale~
:)
I much prefer it to the heavier yeasty stuff~

Here in WI we have this awesome micro brewery called Lakefront and this is their gluten free beer. It's very good, light and mellow. A friend of mine who hadn't had beer in probably close to a decade was even able to drink a bit of it! It's quite a hit among my gluten sensitive friends. -
