chocolate birthday cake!

For his first vegan, wheat-free baking attempt ever, Brian made me cookingadvicelive.info/recipe...ke.html with www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1...4204,00.html (using soy flour, vegan margarine, and rice milk) with yummy chocolate glazey stuff on top.

The cake came out a little chewy around the edges. He thinks maybe letting the batter sit for a bit before baking so the rice flour can suck up more liquid might help. But really, a little chewy didn't stop me from gobbling my piece up! I'm trying to hold back from eating the whole thing.
